New mudan leaf 大牡丹葉

There are two mudan leaves in this photo. The bottom leaf is from my new mudan (grown from seed, 5 years old, fprt bloom this year). It is two feet long, about twice the size of other mudan leave (top one).
圖下方的牡丹葉， 長2尺。它是從種子長出來的，已 5 年了，今年開了第一朵花。它的葉子比一般的牡丹葉長了2倍。上端是一支黃色的尺。

紅色的牡丹

四月十九日，今年天氣特別溫暖，牡丹花季，提早了半個月，今天牡丹已經盛開了，有的已經謝了。這朵紅色的牡丹，楚楚動人。

New pale Pink Mudan

April 19, 2012. This mudan is five year old, grown from seed. It is the first and the only bloom this year.The size of the flower is about 7.5 inches.

這朵淺粉色的牡丹，從種子培育出來的， 是一新的品種，五年了，開的第一朵花，直徑七寸半。

This outer mudan pedal is half pale green and half white.

A New Mudan, Tree Peony first bloom 4/16/12

This is a five yesrs old mudan from seed. It is a new kind of mudan. The flower is very large , light pink color very delicate. The pedal at the bottom right has two pale green strips. The pedal at the middle bottom is pale green with light pink strip.
