Mudan Seedlings April 15, 2010

I had 24 mudan seedlings in April, 2010. Some mudan seeds are easier to sprout than others. I paantted more than 100 seeds under the shade of matured mudans, but only 24 sprouted. Ten out of the 24 sprouted under one mudan tree. This picture shows 5 of them.

After a rainy day in April, the sun just came out, my son Chris saw three sparkling water droplets sit on a peony leaf. The setting was so beautiful. It could be a eloquent pin with three shinning pearls sit on a gold leaf.

Pink Mudan on Raining Day 雨後牡丹

April 13, a raining day, the pink mudan with rain droplet on its pedal, looks really beautiful.

4月 13 日，雨後牡丹，一粒粒的 水珠落在粉紅的花瓣上，分外的清新美麗。

Early Bloomer-Pink Mudan 最早開的牡丹花

The Pink Mudan begins to bloom on April 12, 2010 which is two to three weeks earlier than other mudans.

這種粉紅色的牡丹開花已經開花了，今天是4月12 日。其它的牡丹要到5 月初 才會開花。
