Children Fishing in a Creek

In 1949 I lived in Taoyuan, Taiwan. I remember at that time I was 10 years old. Taoyuan was a small town. Near my house, there are rice fields and creeks with clean running water and bountiful small fishes. Many small children like my age would use baskets, buckets, or self-made nets to catch the small fishes. They could spent whole afternoon there. The captured fishes would be enough for their families' dinners.
